Come witness evidence of God’s glory through His amazing designs in nature. Engineering the best designs is a challenging task. In this presentation on Biomimicry (otherwise known as biomimetics or bio-inspired design, Don Gilbreath will show interesting examples of how engineers are copying the excellent designs of God’s creation to advance technology. About Don Gilbreath: Mr. Don Gilbreath is a Senior Process Development Engineer at Gates Corporation. He has been with Gates Corporation for 28 years and is a mechanical engineer who holds thirteen granted patents. Don enjoys working on breakthrough products that no one else in the industry has marketed. He has developed products such as crimp fittings for large ID high pressure oil rig hoses and hose connectors such as the innovative Gates iLok. Don received both a B.S and an M.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He has had a passion for creation apologetics for most of his adult life and attended the CTI Creation Apologetics Teachers College in 2017 & 2018. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Denver Society of Creation. Don lives in Castle Rock, CO, with his wife of 35 years.
