“Grand Canyon Studies”

The Grand Canyon of Arizona is the most important

landscape on earth to be explained by competing creationist

and evolutionist paradigms. Dr. Holroyd recently completed

research with Dr. Steve Austin and Dr. David McQueen

regarding the formation of the Grand Canyon and will

share the highlights of that research with us.

About Dr. Holroyd: Dr. Ed Holroyd has a versatile and

interesting background. He holds a B. S. in Astrophysics

and a PH.D. in Atmospheric Science. Recently, his

interest in Geology has led him to continuing education

at the Colorado School of Mines.

He has worked as a research scientist for C.S.I.R.O. in

Sydney, Australia and for the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation.

He has taught university classes in remote

sensing and image processing at the University of Denver

and satellite remote sensing at Webster University.
